The Center for Bioethics provides clinical ethics support as it is an essential component of excellence in clinical care and plays a crucial role in the education of clinicians across disciplines.

Additionally, Center faculty members provide research ethics support to promote the ethical conduct of research at the University, nationally and internationally.

Research Ethics

Center faculty members promote the ethical conduct of research at the University, nationally and internationally. They provide service as task force and advisory committee members; teach courses in the Center’s Bioethics curriculum and in the University’s Honors Program; teach research ethics as guest instructors in the curriculum of various other programs, including Nursing, Public Health, Genetic Counseling, and Biomedical Engineering; and offer workshops in collaboration with the University’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute and Human Research Protections Program.
