The Journal of Public Health Management and Practice recently published an article co-authored by JP Leider, PhD, presenting the results of a survey comparing the experiences of White and BIPOC students at a predominantly White school of public health. The authors state: “The results indicate a need to improve cultural competence/humility, along with a need to move away from what may be construed as White-centered events, pedagogy, and leadership.”
